Community Counseling & Mediation is currently operating six outpatient Article 31-licensed mental health and substance abuse clinics, staffed by 150 licensed clinicians, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and licensed clinical social workers. Our clinical services include individual, group and family counseling, psychological, psychiatric and psychosocial assessments and diagnosis, psychopharmacology, and HIV/AID services.
At CCM, we realize that an individual’s potential for success cannot become a reality if his or her vision of the future is blurred by mental illness or substance and alcohol abuse. In response, CCM’s staff offer innovative, culturally sensitive treatment services at six licensed mental health clinics and two licensed outpatient chemical dependency treatment program.

CCM Mental Health Clinics
Culturally sensitive and innovative treatment services at three licensed mental health clinics, including: individual, group and family counseling; psychological, psychiatric and psychosocial assessments and diagnosis; and psychopharmacology.

Crisis Counseling Services (CCS)
Individual, group and family counseling for students, teachers and families in the NYC public school system; as well as workshops in mediation, anger management, non-violent conflict resolution training, and dealing with trauma treatment.

Treatment Access & Prevention Services (TAPS) program
Community Counseling & Mediation’s Treatment Access & Prevention Services (TAPS) program is federally funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA).

ASAP Clinic: Addiction and Substance Abuse Program
Reopened on July 2, 2025, Community Counseling & Mediation’s OASAS Outpatient Treatment Program ASAP (Addiction and Substance Abuse Program) now operates out of CCM’s Elm Place Clinic.
The clinic plays a vital role in addressing the needs of our supportive housing clients and community members who are actively developing skills to manage triggers and cravings related to substance use. We are dedicated to providing timely access to critical services for clients across our four supportive housing facilities.

Harlem Family Institute Affiliation
CCM’s Harlem Family Institute Affiliation, co-located in our Manhattan Clinic, is a psychoanalytic Training Institute for the underserved. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy candidates provide psychotherapy under supervision, to children, adolescents, and adults at this location.
