Social Director sought to oversee Social workers team in developing & implementing mental health, substance abuse treatment, housing, child welfare & social services. In charge of the operation of the Asian Clinic Treatment Services program. Counsel clients to assist them in dealing with substance abuse, mental or physical illness, poverty, unemployment, or physical abuse. Collaborate with counselors & physicians to coordinate treatment, drawing on social work experience and patient needs. Train junior social workers. Present development report at Board quarterly meeting. Assist grants application, funding sources & revenue streams including government contracts, foundation grants and private support.
