Controller sought to formulate program budgets & monitor expenses so they are within budget; Lead individual program & annual agency audit and communicate audit findings to CEO. Compile & analyze financial reports; Compile year-end financial statements & prepare functional expenses schedule for annual audit; participate annual agency audit; Develop & manage financial controls in accordance with the agency procedures; Devise improvements to accounting system in support of the agency’s strategic plan; Prepare financial statements & ensure financial compliance for Low-income Housing Tax Credit projects.
Require skills: good understanding of general accounting standards (GAAP) and financial analysis; strong familiarity with consolidation requirements, consolidation of different entities and inter-company transactions; good understanding of general auditing standards (GAAS) and basic procedures in financial audits; familiar with accounting information system; basic knowledge on partnership tax laws.
