Jean’s Place

Located at 485-515 Van Sinderen Avenue in Brooklyn Community Board 5, Jean’s Place is a permanent supportive housing facility for formerly homeless individuals, with a preference for the elderly.

Comprised of 139 units, Jean’s Place has been created to provide stabilization, medication, better health care, employment, and other services to help low-income residents live an independent life.

Services for Tenants

  • Caseworkers that will assist with creating and implementing individual resident service plans
  • Skills of independent living training
  • Primary care coordination
  • Psychological counseling
  • Therapies such as urban roof farming, massage, arts involvement, and other services as needed
